WOW, LANTAU!

Hong Kong is not all about the busy city, the night market and the famous temples. While most of the prominent sightseeing spots can be found in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island (main), there’s another beautiful isle existing that is less likely explored by the tourists. It’s the island of Lantau! I call it the other side of Hong Kong mainly because it’s quite different from the usual city setting. It’s the place where you can actually get away from the crowd and relax. And this is where we stayed during our whole trip.

Our hotel was located in Mui Wo, a rural town in Lantau that is one bus-ride away from the train station. It usually takes 30-45 minutes to get there. So it’s kinda far. =) Like what I told you on my previous blog, you have to walk quite long before you can finally reach the hotel. No public transportation could fit on the hotel street, not even a taxi. Most of the locals there if not all, ride bicycles to roam around. Can you now imagine how provincial this place seems? But it’s worth the travel though, when you finally see the nature, the peaceful environment and the nice beach. Just perfect to take OOTD! Lol! =P

Guess what else can you find in Lantau? Hmm… The airport, Ngong Ping 360 and of course, Disneyland Resort. And speaking of Disney, I really enjoyed my day there! Can't wait to tell you more about it! =D

Stay tuned!

MY BOYISH KINDA LOOK

I consider myself a very girly and feminine person. Well, it reflects on the type of clothes I usually wear- dress, jeans paired with girly top, flats or heels, girly accessories.. I never wear rubber shoes, cap or plain shirt except on occasions that require having them on. As much as possible, my outfit has to be “lady-like”. But, here’s an exception! As I was thinking of what I would wear on my flight to Hong Kong, I suddenly felt the urge to accomplish a look that is something less feminine. I call it my boyish kinda look!
And as a result...

 Tada!!! Tehehehe...

I wanted to wear my knee high sneakers so I decided to pair it with a ragged-looking tights and a loose shirt. Plus, the cap that I haven’t worn for ages as my accessory. I think it still looks a bit girlish though. Oh well, that’s the best I can do for now. Haha! I tell you, I don’t normally wear this kind of outfit. =D

It was actually a good thing that I had my sneakers on. Apparently, we had to go for a long walk before we could get to our hotel. Yikes! (I’ll tell you why on my next blog.)
So, there it goes- my own interpretation of a boyish look!

What do you think? =)
